Health & Safety

USA’s values regarding HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, Environment) are simply stated. No Accidents and No Harm to people, property or the environment. USA has embraced these values by implementing its own STAR (Safely Terminating All Risk) HSSE Management System that operates as a risk assessment based approach integrating the element of Human Behavior (Behavior-Based Safety) as a key component of our excellent performance. USA has extensive experience in training and can provide in-house training on multiple client-specific safety systems including Loss Prevention System (LPS), BP Defined Practices including Control of Work (CoW) and other behavior based safety programs.

By means of continually assessing risks, implementing and maintaining pro-active mitigation controls, managing human behavior and constantly observing and measuring our progress; USA has not only ingrained safety and responsible action as core values in our organization, but have also gained the confidence of clients who regard USA as a preferred service provider. As evidenced by our safety statistics, USA has proven “Best in Class” results in all categories of HSSE management. The high effectiveness of safe and responsible actions as a core value at USA is demonstrated by many long-term and most recent safety achievements.

A written statement of USA’s Health & Safety Policy can be found in the first element of USA’s HSSE Management System, our STAR (Safely Terminating All Risks) Management Program. This policy states,

“It is the intent of USA Environment, LP (USA) to provide a safe work place for employees. Every effort will be made to comply with all federal, state, and local safety regulations and USA is committed to providing all the resources needed to promote and implement an effective Health and Safety Program. To support these efforts, USA has formed a safety committee responsible for the development and implementation of the Health and Safety Program.
